Saturday, June 13th is World Wide Knit in Public Day! Here at Loop & Leaf we will be celebrating with free, open to the public events throughout the day! We will be teaching small workshops on all those tips and tricks that will help your knitting look perfect, including spit splicing, Russian joining and weaving in ends. These workshops will be completely FREE and everyone is welcome to attend. In addition, lots of gorgeous, luxurious yarn will be discounted 15%-35% for one day only, and we will have free samples of tea infused truffles and live music. Unfortunately, we are unsure yet about whether or not we will have alpacas at the shop this year, but Bonnie and Hedy from Spinning Star Alpacas will be showcasing some amazing, locally grown and spun alpaca yarns. Whether you come for an hour or the entire day, get your knitting out of the closet, and let the public know how many knitters are out there!
Saturday, June 20th from 4-6pm we will be having another exciting event - a reception for our featured artist, Alexis Bouchard. Her beautiful work has received such a warm welcome, we’d like to do the same for her! Join us Saturday evening for appetizers and other refreshments to meet Alexis and view her artwork.
33% Wool, 33% Silk, 33% Milk Protein, this super soft yarn is amazing to knit with.
This bulky weight, 2 strand pencil roving is super squishy and fun to knit up! It makes quick sweaters without all the extra weight of a normal chunky yarn.
Each ball of this sock yarn comes with a picture of how your socks will look when knit up. The gradual color gradations are gorgeous!
