The Habu Trunkshow is almost here! Thursday, May 20th from 1 pm to 8 pm and Friday, May 21st from 9 am-12:30 pm Takako Ueki will be here in the shop with tons of her amazing Habu garments, all available for you to try on. Takako will also be teaching a workshop on learning to work from a Habu pattern at three different times during her visit:

These bags are similar to the Offhand Designs Zhivago doctor's bags, but a bit smaller and more manageable for everyday use. They are handmade with beautiful vintage fabrics in Oakland, California.
Crochet 101
3 Wednesdays, May 26th, June 2nd and 9th, 10-11:30am
Learn how to work a number of crochet stitches from slip stitches to triple crochet. You will also be learning how to work flat and in the round. These are all great skills that will be useful in making larger crocheted objects as well as embellishing knitted garments!

Beginning Lace
3 Saturdays, May 15th, 22nd and June 5th, 10:30am-12pm
Don't let knitting lace intimidate you anymore. In this class, you will learn to work from a knitting chart and learn to visualize your knitting based on that chart. We will be making the Springtime Bandit shawl by Kate Gagnon Osborne.

If you know how to cast on and bind off you are on your way. Using a knit, bind off and pick up technique your knitting can go in new directions. Combine your favorite colors, textures and fibers to reveal your wild side and walk away with an original art bag.
