We hope you've had Happy Holidays! We missed you while we were closed, and we're so happy to see those of you who have come in to the shop for a brand new year. After knitting Christmas gifts for all our loved ones, I think it's time to make a resolution to do some knitting for ourselves. We've got tons of new projects and ideas for you, so don't be a stranger!
Cashmere has been such a hot fiber this past season, and it is such a pleasure to knit with that I am terribly sad to announce that the price will be going up on all the Jade Sapphire Cashmere yarns. The prices were raised late last year, and we have held them at the lower price as long as we could. Starting February 1st the price of the mill-spun cashmere (all weights) will go from $37.50 to $41.00 per skein and the Handspun is moving from $38.50 to $42.50. This gorgeous cashmere, including all of the new colors is still available at the old price until Januaray 31st.

A Few New Colors of Jade Sapphire Handspun cashmere.
At a whopping 500 meters, just one skein this luxuriously soft organic wool from the amazing dyers at Fleece Artist, will get you a long way into any project.
The interchangeable knitting needle set by Addi is finally here! The set comes with 10 pairs of needle tips (sizes 4 to 15), 3 super flexible cords (24", 32" and 40") and 1 connector used to combine cords or store stitches - $150. (only a few sets left, so grab them while they're still here)
Check out these gorgeous hand-turned buttons, lovingly handcrafted by local artist Martha Etchart. I'd knit a sweater just as an excuse to use them!

In our second class on Amigurumi, we decided to step things up a bit and make 2 animals! Learn the construction of these fun, small crocheted animals and get hooked on Amigurumi! We will spend one class on each of the animals, and the third class on any questions you have before we seam them in the fourth. These are great projects for children's gifts and are very fun to make.
